Marantz knew that to challenge the status quo, they couldn't rely on existing technology. To achieve true hi fidelity, they developed every element of Horizon from scratch. Beneath the patented seamless 360 degree ecofiber fabric, you'll find three silk-dome tweeters and four wide-band midrange drivers. At the center is a long-throw neodymium powered Gravity bass driver. Each of these is powered by its own channel of Marantz Rise Amplification-a GaN FET amplifier capable of a combined 370W (1400 peak!) of power. To synthesize the immersive sound field, Marantz developed a novel DSP system that you can customize to your liking.

Of course, Grand Horizon has traditional analog and digital inputs, but the real magic is found in the HEOS system built-in. HEOS not only lets you stream using familiar technologies like Airplay, Bluetooth, and Spotify Connect, it adds support for high resolution streaming from Tidal, Qobuz, and Roon. HDMI makes connecting it to your TV a one cable affair.

Unrivaled sound quality is necessary but not sufficient. Marantz elevated the quality of Grand Horizon with incredible build quality and materials. The Radiance 360 degree ecofiber is a Marantz original fabric made with 100% recycled ocean plastics, yet is acoustically transparent, durable, and easy to clean. The speaker includes a color matched genuine marble plinth upon which it sits. The cast aluminum front and rear panel ensure longevity and performance.

The front panel's Aura Control ring is more than a light show. It's a touch sensitive interface that makes it easy to play/pause with a simple touch, or to adjust the volume to your liking by placing a finger anywhere along the ring. Deeper command and control can be achieved by using the free HEOS app. Or, control it with familiar apps and stream using your favorite service like Roon, Qobuz Connect, Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect or many more. When connected to a TV via HDMI, Horizon will power on and off with the TV and respond to the TV's volume and mute commands.
